Regardless of what state you are located, you can attend the C.L.E. which will give you more insight into how to start volunteering, practicing pro bono and some Ohio-specific requirements regarding professional conduct to consider from overall well-being to specific processes to get started.
Choose from the Following Benefits:
1) Book Recognition: Choose to be highlighted for how far you have come and share your perspective with peers, potential employment and the nation.
Time commitment: as little as 15 minutes
2) Informative Process and Ohio Professional Conduct CLE credits: Have the opportunity to learn about how legal professionalism condones and expects giving time to your community, pro bono and non-legal volunteer work, for your next Ohio CLE reporting year as well as the pro bono and nonprofit involvement process. NOTE: You do not have to partake in this CLE session.
Time commitment: 1-2.5 hours CLE
3) Volunteer Work: Connect with others and collaborate in meaningful ways for you and your community by diversifying your experiences and providing self-fulfillment. From running 5ks to spreading awareness on social media to volunteering at a dog shelter, feeding the homeless, or even starting a nonprofit for someone else you can make such a huge impact this year.
Time commitment: Subjective determination based on your pro bono/volunteer work.
4) The President's Volunteer Service Award: Volunteer wherever and however you feel passionate to help and be honored with a President's Volunteer Service Award*.
Time commitment: The minimum 25 hours is optional for members.
5) Quarterly Q&A with the Counsel Collective Board.
