What is the 2025 Recognition of Merit Program?
This program is for new lawyers practicing less than 7 years in the United States that are interested in celebrating and growing within their community professionally and/or personally. It is in collaboration with the National Association of New Lawyer Peer Initiative.
- PROGRAM OPTIONS Available at this time:

- Open to any attorney nationwide practicing under 7 years in at least one state.
- Option 2: Speaking Option as New Lawyer (For those practicing between 5-7 years) CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT SPEAKER FORM(Coming Soon)
- Speak to newly barred lawyers across the nation sharing your experience.
- Live Virtual Sessions or Pre-taped Session options are available.
- Examples include: giving Top 10 things you have learned, 1 particular hard lesson to share and how you corrected your actions, hiring process tips, court behavior tips, choosing the right setting to work, client related issues, horror story and how it ended.

How can I be recognized within the New Lawyer Recognition of Merit Volume I?
- Be a United States practicing attorney for less than 7 years in any state(even if presently within inactive status). You can work in any area of law, public or private sectors. You can work for a big firm or small.
- No fee to be recognized for all new attorneys.
- Fill out the form below and understand and agree to the rules/guidelines.
- Takes Less than 10 minutes.
- Send in a professional headshot OR action shot practicing law (office or court)
- Choose to be highlighted for how far you have come and share your perspective with peers, potential employment and the nation. Celebrating the incremental steps along the way is very healthy for new attorneys.
- REFERRAL CREDIT AVAILABLE AS WELL: For every new attorney that you refer and they decide to participate, we will give you a credit of $5 to use on upgrades such as ordering a hardcopy certificate, advertising credit, etc.
How do I become a Q&A speaker as a New Lawyer Collaborator?
- Be a United States practicing attorney for at least 5 years in any state(even if presently within inactive status). You can work in any area of law, public or private sectors. You can work for a big firm or small.
- No fee to speak or time restraints. Voluntary positions only at this time.
- Fill out the form below and understand and agree to the rules/guidelines.
- Send in a professional headshot OR action shot practicing law (office or court)
- New attorneys have a deep desire to acclimate and begin to feel comfortable within their practice. Any guidance, advice, horror story, nuance, etc. really does impact them and the legal community needs to keep sharing knowledge and support for each other. Examples include: giving Top 10 things you have learned, 1 particular hard lesson to share and how you corrected your actions, hiring process tips, court behavior tips, choosing the right setting to work, client related issues, horror story and how it ended.
